Definition - What does Processor mean?
A processor is an integrated electronic circuit that performs the calculations that run a computer. A processor performs arithmetical, logical, input/output (I/O) and other basic instructions that are passed from an operating system (OS). Most other processes are dependent on the operations of a processor.
The terms processor, CPU and microprocessor are commonly linked.

A processor includes an arithmetical logic and control unit (CU), which measures capability in terms of the following:
- Ability to process instructions at a given time
- Maximum number of bits/instructions
- Relative clock speed
Most people just say processor instead of "CPU" nowadays.
Basically 2 types of processors are availiable in market i.e., followings:
1. Intel:-
In Intel there is many varients availiable. Example:-Celeron, Pentium, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7& Core i9.
Core i9 is a latest varient in Intel.
2. AMD:-
In AMD there is some varients avaliable. Example:- Athalon seires, Fx series, Ryzen series & A seires.
Computer Processor plays a vital role in handling calculations and system tasks, with Intel and AMD offering powerful variants. Choosing the right Computer Processor depends on performance needs like cores, clock speed, and efficiency.
